"Meanwhile, Ed reaches the age adult and feel the presence of "hair crisis" in the future. Then decides to travel to the island nation of East for "Wakame" and "Kombu" medicinal foods that make this very valuable hair reborn ...
I'm thinking of this epic story !!... I'm serious! "
As I read this I knew I had to do a fic so I did. In the end I finished a fic out more of Ed as a father dealing with his hair crisis, but I ended up liking the result.
Evan is my invention and is the only thing that belongs in this fic. And do not fuck with this note more kilometers.
Edward Elric was watching the window with great anticipation. At such times he was traveling on a tourist cruise headed for the island nation's east, a small country that was relatively close to their continent. Despite not being a great nation as Amestris or Drachma was generally very popular for its beautiful scenery and great tropical climate. Another point that was visited was very herbs, fruits and other foods that were native medicines. Despite having a good medical system, alternative medicine was very popular there. And that was precisely the purpose of your trip. Edward
thirty-eight years was suffering from the famous so-called crisis forty. And one of the issues that I was going crazy (and the people around him, especially his family) was his hair. In short, I was terrified of falling hair. It was then that he began to frantically search for some method to stop this and the research paid off when they heard about two meals of the island in the East who were reborn hair, wakame and konbu. Without thinking was to buy a ticket for the next boat to go there, not without first asking Winry and her children if she wanted to go, of course. Winry unfortunately could not go because I had too much work to be postponed and her daughter was not interested to go.
- Is it much farther to go? Asked a voice beside him tired. Edward turned around to see it. That was, or Winry and her daughter had accompanied him, but your teenager of fifteen.
"No, we're close to the island. If you look out your window you can watch the earth. Probably missing two hours. "The boy snorted.
"That's still a lot to me. Why do I have to accompany this stupid trip? Accepted and for once you are old.
- Evan, I told you about showing respect for your father? Also I'm not old! "Rebuked him annoying. Adolescents, as problematic. Her son had not always been this disrespectful, but since he had entered adolescence his character was becoming problematic. Do all boys his age were so? He did not remember to have behaved that way when he was fifteen. Just wanted his little thirteen did not take the example of his older brother.
actually his son had also refused to accompany him, but Winry insisted that he did, saying it would be an excellent opportunity for both to create better ties between father and son. And amazingly, she managed to convince him. Sometimes he wondered what his wife used methods to control it. "I just
tell the truth, you're denied it's not my fault, "he said, and thereafter took out a book to read. Ed sighed, knowing he had no case to answer. Just waiting for the rest of the trip and the stay were not very difficult. Fortunately there were only three days and two nights.

The central market in the capital of Easter Island was completely crowded, Edward and Evan trying to get through. After spending three hours after their conversation, the vessel arrived at the port of the capital. From that came the cruiser arrived at the hotel where they stayed and settled, they returned to spend another three hours. Already when both decided to go for a walk and get to know the center was dark.
"The hours fly past each other casually," said Ed His son nodded and yawned a little. It seemed that the fatigue of travel had fallen. He also felt the same way. How about if we have dinner and go to sleep? Morning we will walk around and buy the wakame and konbu.
"I think it's perfect," he said, and so both went in search of a restaurant.

"Hey buddy, I can do you ask a question? Evan inquired as spilled food with her fork. Ed could guess he was nervous.
"Yeah, sure, tell me.
- How do you decl ... he finished speaking, your question in a whisper so softly that Edward was not enough to hear the final. Evan's cheeks were flushed.
- What do you mean?
- how do you declared you Mom!? He shouted. All around him stopped talking and stared for several minutes before resuming their conversations.
- Why do you want to know that? Inquired the former alchemist funny.
- Who cares? I was just curious. With that you must suffice, right? "Ed laughed in to see the flushed face of his son. Could get an idea of the reason for your question.
"Well, that happened several years ago but still remember it clearly, began to tell nostalgic. Evan listened with attention. As you know, after your uncle and I terminates our trip we stayed for two years living in the house of your mother and grandmother. Well, at that time several things happened between us, but I never dared to confess and-
"Yes, I suppose, but I asked for your confession, not for your history-loving young drily cut him, something uncomfortable.
"Yes, sorry, you're right. As I was saying, we were living for two years with your mother until your uncle and I decided to travel again, but this time separately. He decided to go to the East, where he was reunited with your aunt in Xing, whereas I to the West. Your mother took me to the train station and at that moment I knew I had to tell so I confessed.
- What did you say? Ed smiled at the question, as if he had still waiting.
"I did a paradox with the Law of Equivalent Exchange. I told him I would give half of my life if she gave me her other half.
- Huh? Is that all?
"Yes, indeed. Incredible Right?
"No, it's disappointing. "Edward was stunned to hear the answer of his son. By the way they were telling I thought it was something cool , but it was just the opposite. I feel sorry for mom.
- Huh? But why? Asked his father, a little desperate. His son, by way of answer, just shook his head as if you give as a hopeless case. Ed decided not to delve deeper into the subject for its own sake and eat.
*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*
- Okay, we're here! Cried Edward, again standing in the middle of the center of the capital. His son, I was at his side, looked at him.
- now what do we do? "Now was the turn of the father to see it.
- How "should we do? That should be obvious, we'll buy wakame and konbu!
"Yes you're obsessed with your hair ... You should accept once and your age. Believe me, it will be best for you.
- Stop calling me old! Exclaimed the former alchemist and began to head towards a shop that mentioned on a poster that sold those two foods. Evan kept rolling his eyes.

"I bought the wakame and konbu what want to do now, Evan? -The above him with a face full of shame.
- Did you have to buy all the wakame and konbu?
"Of course, I have to stock up for months. Do not expect to come here every other week, right? Ed said, stating the obvious (to him). Evan was just a hand to his face and shook his head again. How about if we go to the library there and buy some books?
adolescent's face lit up when he heard his father say that and see the building noted. Nodding, quickly began to go over there, almost running. Ed followed him nearby. If there was anything that the two shared was their love of books.
However, before they could cross the street the light changed. However, worst of all was that Evan did not seem to have noticed because he kept walking.
- Evan, stop! Cried Edward. The above reacted and stopped, turning to see his father, but before he could say anything, the two heard a honk. Without thinking twice, Ed ran and grabbed his son, pulling the bags he was carrying food to the floor at the time they touched it. And in that second the car off the road trying to stop.
- are well!? Cried the man who left his vehicle after it succeeded in stopping a few feet of them. Was a miracle that had eluded him.
- You all right, Evan? Ed asked with concern as not having made sure a wound by touching it.
-S ... Yes, I'm bi ... well. Sorry, "replied the boy shocked.
- Be more careful when crossing! You could have died! "I chided. The boy only nodded and turned to whisper an apology. Sigh of relief, hugged him tightly. The boy accounted hug.
- Sir? Reluctantly asked the driver, not wanting to interrupt the moment. Are they right? I am very sorry.
"Do not worry, you do not have the guilt-Ed tried to reassure him and looked at the space where before they were about to be hit. His eyes widened when she saw the bags before loading was rolled and destroyed on the ground. The wakame and konbu ... "she said ruefully as he lowered his head to defeat them, but seeing your child's face smiled. But no matter, what matters is that Evan is right. I will return to buy more back.
*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*
- What do you mean there is no more? I asked Ed was the fifth store which were and still failed to succeed. Apparently the wakame and konbu foods were exhausted very quickly.
Upon leaving the store and look at that it was dark, Edward sighed defeated. It would be better than both returned to the hotel to sleep. The next day morning were boarding the ship that would take them back to the mainland.
"You'd better get back. "Evan just nodded and started walking beside him.
Since the incident the car was shown in silence and not speak, except to give some short answers if I asked something. Ed knew he should feel guilty so I tried to think of something to calm him down.
"You know," began capturing the attention of his son, when I confessed to your mother she told me I was ridiculous to use the Law of Equivalent Exchange. And then I said that I would give half of his life but all. Then he blushed and said that only 85% would give me, I remember I laughed a lot at that time by as folded and reformed the Equivalent Exchange Act. At that moment I knew that he preferred that the alchemical law and over time I realized how true it was.
I do not understand what mom reformed?
"That if you give something in return, then what will be something much bigger. I proposed to your mother that she would half my life and she decided to give me his whole life but only 85% He laughed a little remembering the confession. Then looked at his son with a soft look. And today I lost the wakame and konbu, but in return I could save your life and you're safe. And that definitely is a greater reward. I do not regret what I did so stop feeling guilty.
put a hand on the youth's head and stroked it. Evan did not answer and nodded, his face was not visible because it hid her bangs, but Edward knew he had misunderstood.

- Where is Evan? If you do not hurry we will miss the cruise, "he murmured Edward as he walked steadily into the port.
The two had gone together and had arrived with two hours in advance. But as they came his son told him he was going to buy something before you go because yesterday he could not. Ed had left him, thinking it would take much, but now was ten minutes to leave the ship. Giving
the twelfth round in a circle, the distance saw her son close as he ran. His hands were carrying two bags.
-Evan, where were you? The boat is leaving! "Rebuked him when he arrived.
"Sorry, I just took some work to get them.
- Get it? "Get what? He asked with curiosity, wondering what was so important thing is to buy as much delayed.
- How what? The konbu wakaba and, of course, "he said as he handed the two bags he carried. Not much, but at least you'll have for a month and a half. Evan
completely shocked, "said Edward. Thanks.
- Eh! Did not start to mourn now, right? Because it would be embarrassing. Let us take the boat! Exclaimed the boy as he dragged his father to the platform.

Three days after Travel life returned to normal Elric arriving home the two men. It was early in the morning at that time and all but the father of the family that had raised, were sleeping.
However, the former alchemist piercing cry rang through the house. With the three remaining members quickly got up and went to the bathroom, where they heard the scream come from, worried.
- Ed, you're right!?
- Dad!
- Old!
Winry opened the door and the three were found to Ed in tears. Around him were several hairs on the floor and his head was uneven as if would have fallen a lot of hair.
-Ed, what happened? Winry asked completely stunned. One thing was that one gets a pair of hair fall sometimes, but that was too much.
-N ... I do not know. I just got up as usual and came to the bathroom and when I found myself in the mirror I realized that I had dropped more hair. And when I touch it with his hand out to me more, is horrible! Winry
put a hand to his mouth and then hugged her husband for comfort. Her daughter also was to do the same. Evan, meanwhile, opened his eyes shut.
- Now I remember! He exclaimed. The three looked at him. When I went to the store to buy konbu wakabe and the seller told me not to be mixed when it comes to eating because they would lose their healing effects and would give the opposite effect. What luck that none of us except you, we did. Ed
simply looked back and collapsed on the floor. I had no energy to rebuke him. Winry stooped to try to lift it and whispered a few words of consolation, telling her that if she ate both separately then recover the lost hair.
"But look on the bright side," continued the boy in an attempt to console his father, now you can go bald more easily accept your old age.
-Evan, shut up, "said his sister, wondering how he was born with an older brother with so little tact.
